I am relieved I have finished this doll as I want to get on and definately finish my two quilts.I started them last year and often intend to work on them ,get them out ,think about them, then spot something else ,or suddenly have another idea I want to start. This time I must do them as Tony promises to repaint the bedroom and I want roses and cream colours, the colours of both quilts.
I also have forbidden myself to make another doll until I can get myself to a workshop in England and learn some new things. I know books should help but I need hands on and be in a situation where I can't give up even if I am frustrated.
She is a beauty and love her clothing!
ReplyDeleteJust the outfit I'm looking for LOL!

Well done, now go girl and do those Quilts!
Hugs,
Sandie xx
Your doll is simply gorgeous! I do hope you will share your quilts when finished. It sounds like we are a lot alike. I have many projects going and some that have been hanging over my head for a year or more.
ReplyDeleteI love the dolls that you make. A rose and cream room sounds delightful:)
ReplyDeleteHi Jill your doll turned out absolutely gorgeous. Love her. Are you going to take a class with Colleen? If so you couldn't have chosen a better teacher. Her dolls are fabulous.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous indeed! Charming and dainty, I wish I could make a doll as pretty as you do Jill. I have a quilt to finish too, but it's been hidden as I can't face doing the quilting!xxx
