Why, what and when!!!

Arrived at the hospital as requested befor 8:00 in the morning on Wednesday and was sent into a tiny ward where another lady sat already hooked up to her chemo.I waited and waited and waited and several hours later after seeing the anaethetist and the heart man wa s back in the  ward . The consultant came and said all has changed ,we want you here monday befor 7:00 in the morning and we are going to open you up and see  whats what.I was so taken aback I didn't ask a single question.
So here I am at home again wondering what and why.
On the good side my daughter arrives today for three days and i feel well enough to know i shall love seeing her.
Over in the water surounding the wood a water rat family have arrrived complete with 5 babies. The male is huge and has 2 very large protruding front teeth, but they are grazing animals and really quite harmless. They come onto the bank at dawn and dusk to eat the clover and grass. The french hate them and there probably are good reasons but for me I shall just watching them.

  1. Gosh, I am sorry to hear this news. You must be in shock. Hope all goes well on Monday.i guess at least you don't have to wait long.
Wishing you strength for the coming ordeal.Hope you have a nice time with your daughter. She'll make you relaxed for a while.take your mind off things.

  2. Hang in there. Hope you are well soon.

  3. I'm so pleased to hear your daughter is coming to spend time with you before the op. Will be thinking of

  4. A water rat family! That is exciting. (Well exciting only because one knows their habits and so one does not have to worry about what harm they might cause!) The water surround in your property has fascinated me in the past. Now I can add to the visual inside my head. I have imagined a wee (very wee) moat where there are drawbridges and fairy boats crossing at intervals. I guess the fairies will have to watch for the water rats now! Oh what adventure.
Well it sounds like the soldiers at the hospital are putting together a battle plan for you. I can completely understand why you did not ask one single question. Sheesh Jill! It sounds like they could have slightly better 'bedside manners' as the saying goes. But one just has to do what one is told sometimes hey? I am thinking of you and happy to know that you daughter is coming. Brava!! *gentle hugs* Norma, x
